GH4720Li


GH4720Li is a new nickel-based superalloy with high strength and corrosion resistance strengthened by phase precipitation and solid solution of molybdenum, tungsten, chromium and cobalt. It is mainly used for compressor discs and turbine discs used at 650~750 ℃ and for turbine discs used at 900 ℃ in a short time. Udimet720Li (low inclusion) alloy is developed on the basis of Udimet720 alloy by reducing the content of chromium, carbon and boron in the alloy. The decrease of chromium content decreases the tendency of the alloy to precipitate topological dense pile (TCP) phase, and the decrease of interstitial element carbon and boron content reduces the amount of chain carbides and borides on the grain boundary, thus improving the structural stability and comprehensive mechanical properties of the alloy; Suitable for making turbine discs and blades of aero-engines. Application and characteristics: the alloy has been used to make aero-engine turbine discs and passed the test run. It can also be used to manufacture the integrated turbine rotor of a new generation of strategic high-thrust rocket engine, as well as the turbine disk of the ground gas turbine that works for a long time under 750 ℃. There is serious element segregation in the alloy ingot, which makes the ingot thermoplastic poor, easy to produce cracks during deformation, and the structure is very sensitive to the hot working parameters, so the isothermal forging method should be selected. Alloy temperature: 750 ℃ × After long-term aging for 2000h, no harmful phase precipitation was found.
