GH5188 alloy is a solid solution strengthened cobalt-based superalloy with carbide as the main strengthening phase. Compared with nickel-based superalloy, this alloy has better creep resistance, hot corrosion resistance, thermal fatigue resistance and high temperature strength. In the 1980s, GH5188 alloy was applied to the vortex plate, flame guide and other components of turboshaft 8 aeroengine; At present, some aero-engines use GH5188 alloy plate to prepare high-temperature components such as combustion chamber wall, outer wall and sealing plate. As a deformed cobalt-based superalloy, GH5188 alloy has simple microstructure. Because the carbide is relatively stable, it can not completely dissolve into the matrix during solid solution, and the strengthening phase precipitated by aging is easy to be further over-aged during use, so aging treatment is also not suitable. Cold rolled strip is one of the commonly used products of GH5188 alloy. The alloy raw materials are smelted and cast, and then homogenized, forged, hot rolled, multi-pass cold rolled and intermediate annealed, and finally delivered in solid solution state.
