The ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel developed to solve the serious intergranular corrosion tendency of 06Cr19Ni10 (0Cr18Ni9) steel due to the precipitation of Cr C under some conditions, its sensitized intergranular corrosion resistance is significantly better than that of 06Cr19Ni10 (0Cr18Ni9) steel. In addition to slightly lower strength, other properties are the same as 06Cr19Ni9Ti (0Cr18Ni9Ti) steel, which is mainly used for corrosion resistant equipment and parts that need to be welded and cannot undergo solution treatment after welding.Stainless steel 00Cr19Ni10 is equivalent to ASME material 304L; Steel resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam and water and chemical corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel depends on the alloying elements contained in the steel. Chromium is the basic element that makes stainless steel obtain corrosion resistance. When the content of chromium in the steel reaches about 12%, chromium reacts with oxygen in the corrosive medium to form a thin oxide film (self-passivation film) on the steel surface, which can prevent the further corrosion of the steel substrate. In addition to chromium, the commonly used alloying elements include nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper, nitrogen, etc., to meet the requirements of various uses on the structure and properties of stainless steel.Main application fields: equipment, containers, pipelines and various parts and components that need to be welded but cannot be solid solution treated in chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, petroleum, power and other industries.
