Explain |
NS112 is a full austenitic low carbon nickel-iron chromium alloy of the same series as Incoloy 800. The cobalt content in this alloy can be strictly controlled below 0.01%. NS112 is resistant to many corrosive media. Its high nickel content makes it have good resistance to stress corrosion cracking under water-borne corrosion conditions. High chromium content makes it have better resistance to spot corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acid, but its corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is limited. Besides the possibility of spot corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam and mixture of steam, air and carbon dioxide. Scope of application: NS112 is widely used in various industrial fields where the working temperature does not exceed 550 ℃. Typical applications include: ☞Heating pipe, container, basket and chain used in sulfuric acid pickling plant; ☞Seawater cooling heat exchanger, seafood pipeline system, sour gas environment pipeline; ☞Heat exchanger, evaporator, scrubber, suction tube, etc. in phosphoric acid production; ☞Air heat exchanger in petroleum refining; ☞Chemical process ☞Flame retardant alloys for high-pressure oxygen applications。 |
